Known by most as Territory Day, this date stands stands for the beginning of independence for the Northern Territory. It celebrates the swearing-in of the NT Government and the raising of the flag.
Locals, however, know it as Cracker Day: the one night of the year you can legally possess and let off fireworks. It’s a huge party and it can get a little out of control. In previous years over 20 people were injured in this wild free-for-all.
For those legends who have experienced NT cracker day and survived, we’re releasing a limited run of commemorative T-Shirts. Now you can tell the world you saw cracker day and survived. What a cracker idea huh! Available while stocks last.
